Yes, you got it right, anything can happen in “Maya Raj”. Mayawati who has already wasted Billions of Rupees in creating useless structures (statues and Parks) and now when supreme court ordered her to stop this. Then got another way of wasting our hard earned money. For common people there is no security in Uttar Pradesh, but for statues she is creating a separate police force.
The existing police force is already good for nothing and now one more brigade to waste public money. I belong to Uttar Pradesh and feel ashamed for this. In Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray asks us (UP and Bihar natives) to leave Maharashtra and here Mayawati instead of spending money on development and jobs – is wasting it on statues and their protection. She should try to create jobs for people who are forced to leave their home to earn money. Thereafter if there is extra money then spend that on statues and parks.
She should understand that, the people who do good work need not spend money for building statues of themselves, people do it on their own. I am sure Mr Ambedkar would have never supported such wastage in name of Dalits. On one side Mayawati says that Dalits are deprived, poor and asks for their support in elections. And when in power, instead of working on their development, health system OR Education; builds a statue of herself and Kansi Ram. I do no know how Dalits are going to be benefited with this?
I do not know what is going to be the future of UP but what is being done is good for none – be it Dalits, Hindu Upper Castes, Muslims or others.
