Could CBI be ever out of government cover?

In recent days we are hearing a lot of news and statements around Mr Amit Shah of Gujarat BJP. I do not know what he did or not, and I do not even want to know anything about that. But since the case started all big leaders of BJP are blaming Congress for using CBI against them (BJP).

I just do not understand why whenever CBI files a case against any opposition leader they instantly start blaming the government at center. Could CBI not work on its own? Why everyone sees a hidden hand in it?

And if these opposition party leaders are so worried about and affected by this misuse, why they do not take first step to release CBI from government control. Even when they get the power to do so, they never do this. Why they do not protest now and force the government to make CBI an independent investigating agency. BJP including other parties has got chance to make government at center but no one of them even once started the process to decontrol the CBI. So that the next governments can not misuse the powers.

What is the reason…. I think we all know… but when these leaders will understand?

Inflation and Bharat Band

The inflation and price rise since last 2 years in India, is not a news any more for many of us. We are in a way become used to of this. Everyday when I go to shop at least one thing has its price changed. The government for “Aam Aadmi” is not caring for it any more. The opposition has no voice as they keep fighting themselves over small issues. I do not know when this is going to end but this has affected all of us very badly, and it is high time that we should do something to protest.

Food inflation index calculated by government itself, in last one year has always above 15%. But the actual price rise is much higher than this. The price of milk itself has increased more than 33%, including today’s hike by Mother Dairy and Amul. And this is when people are already hit by the inflation. The government has nothing to say about it. Indraprasth Gas Limited has increased the price of CNG by Rs.5, but government instead of asking to reduce the hike is helping Auto/taxi drivers to increase fare accordingly.

What kind of governance this is? where voice of common man is going unheard. In-spite of inflation being an issue since so long and government talking everyday to do something about it, everything is getting costlier and expensive every other day.

The pulses went to Rs.120 per kg from Rs50 and now it is selling at around Rs.80. Now the government is saying that prices has come down by Rs.40. But why it is not seeing the increase by Rs. 30, i.e. more than 70% in just few months.

I usually oppose such kind of bands and strikes but this time I completely agree and support opposition parties and request them to take this protest a long way unless government does something visible. Increasing CRR (cash reserve ratio) and RR (reverse repo rate) is not a solution to this. I do not know who takes a loan to buy milk from Mother Dairy store.

Blind race to TRP – Balika Vadhu

The one time most popular serial on Indian television, Balika Vadhu, has again proved that the TRP is the only point the producer director consider when making a serial. They do not care a bit about story or values. The serial which showed ground to then popular Star Plus/Bala Ji serials, has now started following the same footsteps to gain TRP.

Balaji, which changed themselves due to this Balika Vadhu serial, may now feel some respite that the same serial is following the same footsteps of Saas-Bahu serrials which were made popular by Balaji.

I do not understand why these serials can not end when the story finishes. In recent years I do not remember a single serial which ended with the story. Every serial must be rescheduled or stopped abruptly. Is it mandatory for a serial to run for 5-10 years.

I sincerely request all TV serial makers to please follow your story. Get it ready before starting production and please please end it when that written story finishes. Do not keep developing the story forever, by adding new characters from the nowhere?

At least have some respect to story, which takes you to the popularity.

Women’s Quota Bill…. why?

Yesterday the Congress led UPA government of India, presented the much awaited women ‘s reservation bill to reserve the 33 percent seats in parliament for women. Many political parties, which actually does not have a vision or leadership, have already opposed the bill in present format. What format they want no one knows?

While it is shameful that we have such vision less persons in our parliament, I am thinking – do we actually need reservations in a democracy? Democracy is by the people for the people, then, if people want to send women leaders in parliament then women will be there. And if they do not then, what else you can do. I can not understand the need of forcing everyone for one specific decision. Reservation of any kind – be it reservation in education, jobs OR parliament, it should be opposed.

If we want the poor and deprived should participate in, what we call, main stream then we should try to educate them and empower them. If we want women in the parliament then let them prove themselves as good leader. After all in the end, we need good leaders in parliament, how does it matter if one is he OR she.

Making a law to reserve 50% seats for backwards and SC/ST could be a short term solution but then it is equally harmful for the development of the country. Can you believe on a doctor who has got his/her MBBS from quota. A student who can not get even 10-20% marks in the examination, how could you believe him to treat life threatening diseases. Is being from a SC/ST category, enough to save life of a dying person? NO.

The engineer who does not even have enough marks to clear the entrance test, would be able to design bridges that last for centuries. NO.

We can bring up one person by reservation, but then what about millions of others waiting for their turn.

Reservation in its concept is a bad thing, it makes people less competitive. Which results in less qualified and useless people to reach the places, where even toppers are not allowed. It is bad for everyone.

The SC/ST people who know that they will get a job even if they does not get enough marks, they will stop getting proper education.

If a person knows that government will reserve a seat for them, without looking at their eligibility then why would he try to be eligible.

If a person knows that no one can dismiss him from his job because he is an SC/ST then why would he work.

Humans are lazy by nature. They work only when they have fear to lose something.

Reservation of any kind should be avoided, irrespective of the criteria. Even if some one is poor then provide him money. And leave it on him to utilize that to succeed or spoil. If some category of persons are deprived of good schools, then provide them good schools, leave it on them to study and get enough marks to succeed.

Then only we will be able to create a generation, which will be able to reach new horizons, have presence of every cast and religion and which can take India to new heights.

Can you believe that Mayawati has no funds???

Yesterday came the news that around 60 odd people died in a temple stampede at Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The ashram is blaming on God, what else we can expect such irresponsible persons, who use people to make their lives and then do not care about their deaths.

But what came as a bigger surprise – when state government i.e. Mayawati government announced that they do not have funds for helping the victims. I was just shocked… and many of you also must have. The chief minister who invested thousands of crores in building mettle statues, stone parks in Lucknow and Noida, does not have 1-2 crores for helping people who actually need help.

The same government is planning to have a dedicated police force to protect those parks and statues which will again demand hundreds of crores. For that she has no shortage of funds and for people who are deeply hurt and are in trouble, she is openly releasing press statements that the government has no funds.

It is just the bad luck of the people in UP, who selected such a party and leader as their chief minister. Shame on her…
