Yes, as the day unfolded and result of the hype created by Shiv Sena – which is opposing the film release, MNIK (My Name is Khan, for people who are still unaware of this) is the 5th most discussed topic worldwide on twitter. The tweets are pouring in at the speed of 15-500 per fifteen seconds. You can view the MNIK tweets here.
Actually Shiv Sena controversy helped publicized the movie. People are going to watch it just to prove Shiv Sena wrong. Apart from that the reviews are great and the theme is noble. We should all support the film cause, even if we do not watch it or like it for whatsoever reason.
I will be watching it some time in coming week as I am a fan of Shahrukh and love watching Karan Johar movies
