Once there was PV Narsimha Rao now there is Manmohan!

I do not remember exactly what were the events and situations which make people call Mr. PV Narsimha Rao a dumb Prime Minister, but I still remember that he was a lazy person – when a decision required. He always avoided to choose a way. It is his indecisiveness which made BJP stronger and finally get power at the center.

And I am smelling the same thing happening again, I did not heard on any news channel that Mr. Manmohan Singh took any decision on any topic. He just forms a parliamentary body to review the situation. Or wait till Supreme Court or Ms Sonia Gandhi suggest something to do. With so many charges of corruption on Common Wealth Games and Mr Suresh Kalmadi, I am still waiting for his statement and his decision.

They are all calling it an issue of national pride, but is it a national pride that we are allowing corrupt people to continue without punishment. What others will think about us. That in an event of international interest we are allowing corruption and instead of punishing the guilty we are supporting them and asking them to continue.

Everyone is blaming Mr. Sharad Pawar for supporting the food inflation and doing nothing to stop this, but Mr prime minister is also doing nothing. Just saying that we have to live with it. Did not he saw the food grains rotting in the Food Corporation of India godowns. Now even Supreme Court has asked, to distribute the rotting food grains to hungry people, but Mr. Sharad Pawar immediately rejected this suggestion. The tons of food grains are spoiling and people are forced to buy it from market at historic prices.

I do not know what government wants to achieve with this. Is not it directly benefiting the corporates and brokers? who are making huge money due by this inflation. Even an illiterate person can understand that it is better to distribute the food to needy people instead of leaving it to rot. But Mr Sharad Pawar can not. But what about Mr. Manmohan Singh. We all know he is an economist and sees profit and loss in everything. But he needs to see it from the eyes of a common man. Who is going to tell Mr. Prime Minister that not everything in this world could be seen in business terms.

There is few more important terms like “Humanity”, “Honesty”, “Self Pride”.

When we allow Mr Kalmadi to do whatever he wants to do knowing that he is misusing his powers and money. What message we are giving to the world? Games will happen and finish whatever way but International community will know that while knowing that these are the most corrupt games – Indian government did nothing. What great example to tell the world that see we are actually most corrupt nation in the world.

Mr Sharad Pawar does not know what hunger feel like. That is why he is still valuing the rotting food grains in purchase price and selling price. How could he feel situation of a dying person due to hunger. He is busy heading the International Cricket Council, and making more money every other day.

But this all at least I did not expected from a person like Mr. Manmohan Singh. I still respect him as an honest, educated and great leader but he must learn to make others also work this way. Otherwise a great person sitting at top and doing nothing is useless.

Power problem in Indirapuram

In last two days Indirapuram is facing unprecedented power cuts. We are getting only 5-6 hour of power in a day. I am just wondering that the parks made by Ms Mayawati must be iluminated by thousands of bulbs. I think that much powe can fulfill the needs of small town like Indirapuram.

Frankly, I cannot foresee a future in my life, when my inverter will be a useless thing of past. Thanks to our beurocrats and visionless politicians…!

Common Wealth Games – Can’t we show an honest face to the world?

In recent days we are hearing a lot in media about the deep rooted corruption in the various commonwealth games (CWG) projects. We all know how Mr. Suresh Kalmadi is holding the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) position in last decade. But I have never thought that he is such a shameless person. I am sorry to say this but after so many allegations and corruption charges he is still there and having a blind eye to everything.

How low a person can go? Is there even 1% honesty and self respect left in our leaders. Where are the days when even one allegation forced leaders to step out, till they come clear of the charge. Even if all these charges are fake, they must prove this. IOA positions are public posts they should be managed by people who are clear from any charges and at least they should not turn a blind eye to it. Why Mr Kalmadi did not say even once that he will order an inquiry and corrupt people will be punished. Instead he is saying that I do not care about this. I (Kalmadi) just want finished work on time.

What kind of person he is and who is responsible to give him such powers. The top leaders of government are saying nothing about this. What kind of games we are going to have? Everyone is saying let the games happen first – at what cost? Are not every country is watching us saving corrupt people. What respect we are going to earn through these games?

When any one raises voice against it then they say that this is matter of pride to us and let it happen as it is going on. I do not know what pride they are talking about. I am not sure what respect these games are going to give us in world forum, but the deep corruption and more than that our inaction and towards that must make us ashamed in front of whole world.

Could CBI be ever out of government cover?

In recent days we are hearing a lot of news and statements around Mr Amit Shah of Gujarat BJP. I do not know what he did or not, and I do not even want to know anything about that. But since the case started all big leaders of BJP are blaming Congress for using CBI against them (BJP).

I just do not understand why whenever CBI files a case against any opposition leader they instantly start blaming the government at center. Could CBI not work on its own? Why everyone sees a hidden hand in it?

And if these opposition party leaders are so worried about and affected by this misuse, why they do not take first step to release CBI from government control. Even when they get the power to do so, they never do this. Why they do not protest now and force the government to make CBI an independent investigating agency. BJP including other parties has got chance to make government at center but no one of them even once started the process to decontrol the CBI. So that the next governments can not misuse the powers.

What is the reason…. I think we all know… but when these leaders will understand?

Can you believe that Mayawati has no funds???

Yesterday came the news that around 60 odd people died in a temple stampede at Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The ashram is blaming on God, what else we can expect such irresponsible persons, who use people to make their lives and then do not care about their deaths.

But what came as a bigger surprise – when state government i.e. Mayawati government announced that they do not have funds for helping the victims. I was just shocked… and many of you also must have. The chief minister who invested thousands of crores in building mettle statues, stone parks in Lucknow and Noida, does not have 1-2 crores for helping people who actually need help.

The same government is planning to have a dedicated police force to protect those parks and statues which will again demand hundreds of crores. For that she has no shortage of funds and for people who are deeply hurt and are in trouble, she is openly releasing press statements that the government has no funds.

It is just the bad luck of the people in UP, who selected such a party and leader as their chief minister. Shame on her…
